Alfa Romeo unveiled their top-of-the-line 156 at the Geneva Motor Show. Dubbed the GTA, it takes on some character similar to the 156 Touring Car that is raced in Europe. It sports a 3.2-liter V6 with 250 bhp at 6200 rpm on tap and 300 Nm of torque at 4,800 rpm.

Inside, the GTA receives interior upgrades such as sport bucket seats and a more racing-inspired interior.

The 156 GTA has a claimed top speed of 250 km/h and a 0-100 km/h time of 6.3 seconds. To help in the handling, Alfa brought in a sports suspension and bigger standard tires: 225 / 45 ZR 17s for both front and rear.

The first unit of the 156 GTA was auctioned off for charity.
