Ferrari unveiled their face lifted version of the 550 Maranello flagship at the Geneva Motorshow. Dubbed the 575M.

The 575M sports a new heart courtesy of a increased displacement from the old 5.5-liter V12 to 5.7-liter V12. The increase in displacement bumped the 575M's horsepower output to 515 bhp from 485 bhp. The torque has also increased from 569 Nm to 589 Nm. This results in a 0-100 km/h times of 4.2 seconds, up by 0.2 seconds from the 550 Maranello.

The exterior has been modified to carry the aluminum power plant. The air inlets and spoiler are some examples. The more dubious change was done to the headlight clusters with sport body-colored cutouts inside the glass cover, bringing back memories of Mitsubishi's 3000GT.

Inside, the 575M receives electronically adjustable seats with memory plus a newly redesigned dashboard, new instrumentation as well as a new six-speed eletro-hydraulic F1 style semi-automatic gearbox.
