Rally fans can keep up to date with all
the latest news and information on Ford's world rallying activities on
the new Ford Rallye Sport website which is launched on March 20. Packed
with facts, figures and behind the scenes news from the very heart of
the rally team, the site is just one click away at
www.fordrallyesport.com.
The site has undergone a total re-design during the past three months and now offers much more detail to make fans feel part of the team. Apart from up to the minute special stage times and news and photographs from world championship rallies as it happens, www.fordrallyesport.com will keep users fully briefed on all the off-rally news. There will be reports from testing, updates on what is happening at the team's M-Sport base and a look at exactly what the drivers are doing in between rallies. Compiled by personnel from inside the team who are in daily contact with drivers and team management, www.fordrallyesport.com will bring all the news that matters as well as bringing exclusive gossip and information from behind the scenes - the kind of detail that makes users feel they belong to the team. Quality photographs from some of the best snappers in the sport will enable users to experience the passion and atmosphere of world rallying from within their home. There will also be competitions and the opportunity to win the type of prizes that money cannot buy, on-line chats with drivers and key personnel from the team and much more to keep fans fully in the picture. To celebrate the launch, there will be superb competitions on the site during the Catalunya Rally, with unique 'money can't buy' prizes to be won each day of the rally. Up for grabs are a titanium wheel hub from a Focus RS World Rally Car, a ride in a Focus RS WRC and a VIP trip for two people to a world championship event. "Rallying's profile is rising quickly and gone are the days when a few words in the newspapers satisfied people," said Ford Rallye Sport marketing manager David Browne. "Now they want news as it happens and www.fordrallyesport.com has been designed to provide just that. But just as importantly, we want our fans to stay in touch with what is happening away from rallies and experience the feeling of being a part of the team". "We know that Ford Rallye Sport and our drivers have a huge fan base and we feel a duty to keep them informed at all times, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. We believe www.fordrallyesport.com will do just that," added Browne. |
