REV magazine, together with Racegear Pit Shop, Toyota Motor Philippines, Honda Cars Philippines and motioncars.com presents Take The Checkered Flag Formula One Contest. Open to both readers and non-readers of the magazine of Philippine residence, the contest asks participants to guess each race’s top six finishers in the correct order.

Corresponding points shall be awarded for every correct answer. The top four point earners in each race will win cool stuff from Toyota and Honda. Each participant can send only one entry per race, but may send entries to all 17 races.

Correctly guessed positions merits the following point scores:

First Place - 1 point
Second Place - 2 points
Third Place - 3 points
Fourth Place - 4 points
Fifth Place - 6 points
Sixth Place - 10 points

Participants may still join even if they’ve missed certain races.

After the 17 races are completed, all the points earned by each participant during the entire season shall be tallied. The participant with the highest point tally shall be proclaimed the contest overall winner and awarded by Racegear Pit Shop the grand prize of one complete F1 tour package for the 2003 Malaysian Grand Prix, including qualifying and race tickets, plane fare, and accommodations.

Contest winners shall be announced in the Motoring Section of Today and in the AutoBuzz section of motioncars.com every Wednesday after each race. They shall also be notified by post, telephone or email.
