Isuzu Philippines Corp.—the Filipino motorist’s responsible partner—has announced it will hold ‘Daan Balikatan’, its annual motorist assistance program for the Holy Week. Fully aware that tens of thousands of motorists travel out of town at this time of the year for that well-deserved spiritual and physical break, Isuzu has made it its mission to lend a helping hand to motorists in distress every Lenten season. This year, ‘Daan Balikatan’ is bigger and better with the addition of more service sites, including those in Tuguegarao and Tacloban. This yearly motorist assistance program is conducted with Chevron Philippines, which has partnered Isuzu on the project since 2000. The complete listing of the assistance sites is as follows:
All vehicles regardless of brand will be accommodated by these sites for servicing on a first-come-first-served basis. For servicing needing lubricant materials, products will be sourced from Caltex fuel stations or participating Isuzu dealerships using Isuzu Genuine Lubricants. ‘Daan Balikatan’ offers free labor on all preventive maintenance services done on all Isuzu vehicles, or 50 percent off on all labor for change oil and tune-up services for Isuzu vehicles—provided that these vehicles are using Isuzu genuine parts and lubricants or Caltex lubricants. Also, a 20-percent discount will be offered on general repairs. Best of all, customers will get free sporty tumblers and pens whenever they avail the services of the above-mentioned support sites, which shall open at 7:30am and close at 5:00pm. ‘Daan Balikatan’ even offers on-location assistance should your vehicle encounter a problem within a 10-kilometer radius from each of the service sites. ‘Daan Balikatan 2008’ is another customer service project of Isuzu in cooperation with Chevron Philippines (Caltex) and Sanicare. |
