The popular 2008 Chery QQ has been named “Mini Car of the Year” at the 4th Annual C! Awards. The Awards is organized by the country’s top and dynamic motoring journalists from C! Magazine, responsible for setting standards for a car and for verifying compliance by automobile manufacturers.

The QQ, Chery’s long-running favorite has sold more than 1,000 units since it was launched in July 2007 in the country. True to Chery’s philosophy of producing cars with cheerfulness, the QQ smiles, while offering distinctive design, versatility, and fuel economy.

The award-winning QQ car comes with an eye-catching styling, coupled with utilitarian and safety advantages. The car’s design is ideal for travelling, providing stability because wind passes through the upper and lower part of the vehicle. Standard fog lamps are equipped with courtesy lamps, which enable safe driving, especially during the night.

At the heart of the Chery QQ lies the double overhead cam engine, capable of producing 52 ps @ 0.8 li engine and 68 ps @ 6000 rpm for the 1.1 li engine. The QQ is equipped with an ACTECO engine that delivers fuel economy and makes free-spirited driving performance possible. Other features include the stabilizer bar or strut bar, which is perfect for maneuvering.
