Mondays: AMG S55

There’s nothing more satisfying to watch fellow employees gape at the mere sight of a S-class parked in your slot.  Of course, upon closer inspection, one sees that this is no ordinary S-class.  In fact, this is the AMG S55.

Using AMG’s 5.5-liter SOHC V8, it provides the S-class with something more than mere grand touring grace.  It gives this executive luxury car more sports car appeal.  This is of course helped by the fact that the S-class was designed to be sportier compared to all the previous models.  Owners and critics alike said that that S-class very much behaves like a smaller sedan…actually more like an E-class!

Of course, the engine and the suspension are just the tip of the iceberg, the S55 gets a better appointed interior with improved leather and wood, plus 18-inch wheels that give the car a butch-ier look that makes the car more appropriate for shuttling around Fred Durst rather than Phil Collins.

The huge S55 delivers a luxurious experience and with AMG tuning gives sports cars a headache.  Imagine being outrun by a car that’s around 30 percent longer and not to mention, heavier.

This Corolla is the first to use the '3D' effect lamps . Unfortunately for Toyota, it seems that this didn't achieve the effect that it should have provided which is a sense of class.
