While Mercedes was winning its Grands Prix, the Detroit Electric Co. was making this runabout.  This car is also from 1914. The King of Siam used this 1928 Delage.  It seemed to have a suitably royal bearing.  I wonder if Chow-Yun Fat would look good in this car. 
One of the earliest cars to wear fly the Spirit of Ecstasy, the 1928 Rolls Royce Phantom I Derby Touring 20.  Bentleys always manage to look good, even way back in 1931.  This Mulliner model packs an 8.0-liter engine.
One of the luxury brands that was famous before WW2 but has now faded into history, Pierce-Arrow produced cars like this 1931 model 43 dual-cowl phaeton They don't make roadsters like they used to.  And aren't you glad!  The 1931 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Henley Roadster.
