Last July 14-21 2001, Prestige Motors Libis has the privilege to showcase all three Z convertibles in a special exhibit entitled 'Evolution of the BMW Z-series roadsters'. Overall, the show was a success since even the official fan club of the BMW Z attended the event. Overall, we have to admit that the showroom of BMW looks two-hundred times better than any TranSport could ever muster. In fact, we said to ourselves that the cars featured in the BMW showroom are so good, they deserved bigger photos at 320 x 240, instead of the TranSport Show's 300 x 225. The good stock of the BMW showrooms is thanks to loyal BMW owners who are willing to showcase their pride and joy. Every car, except the BMW Z1 and the Z8 will be sold by BMW Philippines in the coming months, so that's something we can all look forward to. However, right now, we can only look and drool over the BMW Zs. |

The most direct link could be seen through the Z1 and the Z3. Although the Z3 copies its design cues from the Z07 roadster, it borrows some elements from the Z1 including the low cut doors. |
This privately owned BMW Z1 roadster is a cult classic already. The most unique feature about this is the fact that its doors are motorized that fold completely into the floor when a passenger or the driver enters the car. |
