| Nissan also brought out its all-new Patrol. Now suitable
more for the boss than the bodyguards, the Patrol comes with a choice of 3.0
turbodiesel
or 4.5 inline-6 gasoline injection. Unfortunately, the PHP 1.7 million
price tag is also strictly for CEOs...or
perhaps the Secretary of Education. |
Want that ultimate 4x4, the Hummer, but can't afford
it? Well, how about the best Xerox copy that we saw at the
show? It's from the folks at M.D. Jeepstar. It's quite smaller
than the original but retains the mean looks...and the parachute hooks.
Don't throw it out your plane, though! |

|
| If the M.D. Jeepstar is a too small for your taste, this
Hummer clone is closer to the original in size. It also comes in Troop
Transport...er, wagon configuration. |
Hey, we didn't think that Michael Schumacher would drop by the
Motorshow! (The chin looks smaller in person.) Try as we did, we were
not able to get an autograph...or afford this suit for sale. |

| Finally, some cars! And what a
trio! Stunning silver Porsche 911and curvaceously enticing
Mercedes C-class flank Ferrari F355. |
Classic car that influences to this day, from Nissan Ryogas to
the new S-type: the Jaguar Mark 2. We won't seeing "old" cars
like this at the show. |
