Mercedes-Benz MB100 (1995 - 2003)
We say:
Here's a rather interesting move and perhaps the most ingenious. Although this van was produced in cooperation with Mercedes (its engine is an old direct injection unit), this re-badged Ssangyong doesn't live up to the usual Merc standards. Badge may make you think you're getting luxury, but performance and ownership experience says otherwise.

Elegant design, Merc engine, roomy.
Unrefined, fit and finish, sloppy around corners.
